Our Story
I’m Jessica Linn Shipp, the owner of Global Pest Management, a second-generation pest control company. I grew up in the bug business, traveling around with my Dad, William, who founded Forsyth Exterminating with my Mom, Cindy, nearly 40 years ago.
I would keep my Dad company on his routes, and loved talking with customers, who were always so welcoming and appreciative. Those memories of happy customers as a nine-year-old have stuck with me, so much so, that I founded my company on the core value of customer commitment: the customer is always right, go above and beyond what is expected and uphold the same standards for everyone. I am grateful to my Dad for his mentorship – both personal and professional – and forever grateful to my late husband, who fought for our great country and gave me strength of purpose. Our army green and tan uniforms are dedicated in his memory and serve as a symbol of our strong commitment to service excellence.

Our Customers
We serve the pest control needs of both residential and commercial customers in Northern Georgia, including Alpharetta, Ball Ground Canton, Cumming, Dawsonville, Dahlonega, Gainesville and Suwanee. Our accounts include franchise commercial, property management (including subdivisions), shopping center, apartment communities, grocery stores, restaurants, among others. We have serviced many of our customers for decades, and now their children are our customers, too.

Our Team
We see ourselves as one big happy family serving other families – including work families. Friendly, experienced and knowledgeable, our technicians and office staff are motivated every day to make sure that our customers feel confident in our service, solutions and pricing so that they can live pest-free and worry-free. Our employees meet federal, state and local requirements for both licensing and job training. They are registered by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and take part in extensive and ongoing training programs, including continuing education courses and in-classroom training so that they can deliver the most up-to-date, safest and most effective treatments and services available. Our professionals also have gone through background checks.
